Some pictures of the machine taken after a visit to Forest. The machine is in the home stretch. I still have some small finishing work to do before painting.

Einige Bilder der Maschine. Ich arbeite gerade an der Ausrüstung des Kessels. Nach verschiedenen Diskussionen werden die Verkleidungsplatten in Edelstahl erneuert.

Hallo,

Ich habe keine Inkompatibilität zwischen Aluminium und Edelstahl gefunden.

Im Fall der Oxidation ist das Aluminium am stärksten betroffen und wird ersetzt.

Je n'ai pas trouvé d'incompatibilité entre ces deux matériaux. Et si il devait y avoir une oxydation, ce serait l'aluminium le plus touché.

Side tank and boiler are in stainless steel, boiler cladding are, actually, in aluminium. The cabin should be in steel or ... not yet defined.

Don't worry, I'm french speaking, and my German is not good at all.

The governor is a self made piece. Here is a schema to illustrate how it will be used:

Its role is to control the steam inlet for the pump in order to keep the air pressure to a specific value.
The next item I have to do is the oiler.

Hallo Volker,

You are right, but the pieces on the platform are not the good one. They are templates to adjust some items and to see, more or less, the result. The new parts are more shorter in front, with more place to be able to remove them and to remove the fire grate (you can see the gripping handle).These new parts will be in 4 parts: 2 on each side, away from the 'kessel', another one at the rear of the central part and the last one on front of the boiler. The length of this last one will be secured later.
